{mom's 60th birthday}

This past Sunday...Eric, Becky, Brian, and I SUCCESSFULLY threw my mom a surprise 60th birthday party!!! It was so much fun to do...and the birthday girl was certainly deserving! Today is her real birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! Hope you're having a wonderful day...LOVE YOU!

{15 weeks}

Little prego update...
I know that at 12 or 13 weeks I thought I was in the clear of feeling sick...I think I had spoke too soon!! Although I do feel A MILLION times better, I still deal with the occasional nausea and vomiting. As long as it's not ALL day I can definitely handle it! It's such a weird thing when your stomach starts to expand...I always feel like maybe this shouldn't be happening yet...but I guess there's no stopping it! Brian gets an A+ as a husband:) He's been super helpful throughout this whole process and has never once complained! He's taken over the duty of grocery shopping and making dinner. I appreciate his help SO much!! I can't wait to see him as a dad! Next week I have another appointment...4 months...CRAZY! I always look forward to hearing the heartbeat!

{Extreme Makeover Home Edition}

Yesterday morning, Brian and I got up BRIGHT and EARLY to take pictures at Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I was so glad that I got the opportunity to volunteer as a photographer! It really is amazing to see what can be done when  people come together to serve the community! I heard that over 5000 people volunteered to help and that they had to turn people away! Anyways...here are a few pictures Brian and I took while trying to warm up in the food tent...aren't we cute with our hardhats??  Click here to see pictures of the build.
